May marks the conclusion of Adult Ed for this church season. We move to our single worship service schedule on May 27 (memorial Day weekend) with worship at 10:00 am. Coffee Hour is held immediately following this service at 11:00 am. There is no Adult Ed offered during the summer months. We will resume our regular worship schedule on September 9 and the Adult Ed schedule will resume on that date. Watch for information about next season's offerings in August.

"Health and Wellness: A Scriptural Perspective" (April 29, May 6 and 13)
We are bombarded daily with information about health and wellness, along with multiple ideas on how to achieve these goals. We present an opportunity to view this topic from a unique perspective. Our four sessions will look at "Health and Wellness" from a scriptural perspective. We'll include sessions on both physical and mental health, what it means to be a healthy church, and role of prayer in health and wellness. Together we'll learn how God, through Jesus, teaches us about respecting our minds and bodies, maintaining them as "temples" to serve Him and to serve others. Join us in Westminster Hall.
"The Wired Word" (April 29, May 6, 13, and 20)
Have you ever wondered what the Bible has to say about natural disasters like earthquakes and Tsunamis, or community scandals or the economy? This Adult Ed experience will explore current news from a biblical perspective. Each week a different topic will be confronted through Scripture and hope. Expect lively discussions and thought provoking exchanges that will carry you through the week with the "Wired Word". Join moderator Tod McPherson in Room 11.
"What it Means to be a Presbyterian" ( May 20)
You will recall that Anne Ard and Tom Poole offered two sessions on this topic back during the winter. They had to postpone this third and final session until now. The earlier sessions were well received. On this Sunday they will discuss Presbyterian polity and theology. These topics may sound dense, but Anne and Tom have a way to clarify and make interesting important topics such as these. Share the discussion in Westminster Hall.
"Mission Trip to Nicaragua" ( May 20)
Recently three of our members -- Kevin Lloyd, Linda Morrow, and George Pedlow -- undertook a trip to the Latin America country of Nicaragua. Theirs was an outreach to those in need, which they will discuss in detail during this informative Adult Ed. session. Come to Room 10.
